The ceremony is approximately two and a half hours in length, followed by a reception in Riddell Hall.
We welcome guests’ cheers and jubilation on your special day, however please advise guests that loud noise-making devices such as air horns are not permitted.
If you are a student or faculty member participating in the Convocation ceremony, please note that the Academic Procession follows a route that involves significant walking, including stairs (some without hand rails). Students are asked to email convocation@uwinnipeg.ca (Convocation Officer) if you feel this may be a concern and alternate procession arrangements can be made.
