Graduate Program Application Fee Waiver
Graduate program applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible for an application fee waiver:
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.5 scale, and
• Either hold a 4-year bachelor's degree from The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, or are current undergraduate students and will complete their 4-year bachelor's degree at The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV by August 31, 2026
Fee Waiver Period
Applications must be submitted between December 1, 2025 and February 2, 2026.

There is a one-time non-refundable fee required when submitting your application. This fee must be received by the University before your application can be assessed. This fee must be paid in Canadian funds, the rates are listed below:
Domestic Student: $100.00
International Student: $120.00
Paying the Application Fee
The application fee can be paid online with a credit card when you submit your application through the Application Portal. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted.
Other Methods of Payment
If you are unable to pay your application fee through the portal, we also accept other methods of payment.
We can accept the following payments via mail:
- Cheques made out to "The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV"
- Money Orders made out to "The University of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV"
- VISA or Mastercard: to pay by VISA or Mastercard please contact the Graduate Admissions Office at graduateadmissions@uwinnipeg.ca to request a credit card authorization form
